I have been cooking most of my life. My grandmother raised me and I learned how to cook from the older methods and using a 1946 copywritten Betty Crocker cook book. I don't like anything that is made from a box or uses a box for it's base. Fresh is always better. I enjoy cooking meals for people, but desserts are always the most rewarding. I make a lemon walnut bar that people are crazy about and a banana cake. I find too that people like the old stand by's like the chocolate sheet cakes.
