Braised Beef Short Ribs

These were pretty good, added 1/2 cup Chianti red wine and the gravy was excellent. I only make short ribs once in awhile, easier just to do a roast. Going to try broth mixture over a roast next time, made a great gravy. Short ribs just have way to much fat and then you have to cool and skim off the fat, too much effort!! Good recipe! thanks for sharing. One of the better short rib recipes

Asian Style Country Ribs

Marinated mine over night, and used low sodium soy, not bad, still a tad salty and might marinade longer to get more flavor. I would cut back some on the soy. I liked them better than my husband, but then again, he is finicky. Meat was nice and tender but I bet on the grill would be the best!

Stroganoff Soup

Before I say anything, not every recipe is for everyone. I did not care for this at all. It was very thick, and really no flavor, and 2 hrs in the crock pot is not enough time to tenderize round steak. I followed the recipe exactly. I have now added a can of beef consomme, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce,garlic powder and mushrooms. I am just hoping that the additional cooking time will not turn the noodles into mush. This is really a beef stroganoff not a soup. Brittany I am sorry;( I know how disappointing it is when someone doesn't like a recipe, but everyone tastes are different and others have liked it so Thank you for sharing! It just wasn't for me!

LaVohn's Beef Stew

I thought this was very good, the broth had a great flavor, next time I will add some more vegetables to it. It smells divine while cooking, I left the lid off so the broth would reduce, then added the lid when cooking the vegetables. Thanks LaVohn!

I make this at least once a month I add 1 can of mushroom and I can of cream of chicken and 1 can of milk!! yummy, tonight I took a photot and I was out of peas:( I always put peas in mine, sometimes I crush potato chips up and top it with them

Marinade for Chicken

After all the great reviews I was some what disappointed, served it to 4 people NONE made a comment on it, good or bad. The chicken breast was better than the wings. It was nice and moist. sorry, but I judge a recipe on how others like it and since there were no comments at all it wasn't great.... or they would have said something.

Out of this World Pasta Salad

I too could not find the "alien" vegetable. This was easy to make but it is lacking something for sure. Not one of my favorites. It needs something.. not sure what, maybe onions, cherry tomatoes, cheese cubes? I don't know, I used the bottled dressing light. Maybe making the packet would have given it more zip? 2.5 star at best

Super Squash

Followed recipe but mixed green and yellow, i followed others advice and cut them up smaller, next time i will use a larger pan and just slice them, HUGE HIT with everyone at party at the lake. Will make again. Made in the afternoon and put back in frig, baked for about 40-45 minutes and served with steaks DELISH!!!

Black-Eyed Pea Soup

This was very good!!! I can see adapting this with a different bean for those that are not fans of black eyed peas. I served over cornbread with a dollop of chow chow. I am posting a picture and took like 10 shots, it does not photograph well!!!! but don't let that deter you from trying it as 5 stars is in order! This is perfect for good luck on New Years Day, bet it would fabulous served over rice too, thanks for sharing!!!!!

The Best Corn Bread You'll Ever Eat

Pretty good, My husband did not like it at all, but he is a very very picky eater. The sour cream did not mix in as well as it should, there were spots of sour cream in it. I did add 3 TB of sugar, the consistency of the bread was very different. overall 3 stars.

Good Glop

I make this with 8 strips of bacon, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella, 4 green onions and a sm pkg of slivered almonds and enough mayo for consistency this is addicting stuff, one of my favorite appetizers

I have to admit, I did not use the yogurt, or sour cream I did Mayo it needed something I added celery seed and some stone ground mustard and felt it took it up a notch
