About this Cook
I have been in the Real Estate Industry almost 30 years. I guess this puts me in the dinosaur category. I have always loved to cook and try new recipes. Anytime I am having a party I have the reliable recipes, but there are always the "experimental" ones on the table! I am always on the search for those OUTSTANDING recipes. I have found this to be one of my most visted webites and have told all my friends about it. I have found some of the best recipes on this site!! Over the years I have been putting a cookbook together of my favorite recipes and hope to publish it one day for my friends and family.
My favorite things to cook
My favorite is probably main dishes. I love to experiment with all types of recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Fixing dinner for my friends, and fixing Holiday meals. My son calls Thanksgiving "The Feast".
My cooking triumphs
Anytime someone enjoys something I have made.
My cooking tragedies
For my first Thanksgiving leaving the package of giblets while baking the bird. Oops!

yummy yummy and easy, the worchestshire sauce gives it a great flavor. My husband "I only like pork chops " man even gave it 5 stars., try it just as written needs no tweaking. thanks for sharing

Golden Rum Cake
excellent and so easy, i use pecans instead of walnuts. buy a good rum for this. I let it cool then take it out of the pan and pour half of the sauce into the bundt pan then reinsert cake and pour the rest over top.

Slow Cooker Roast Beef
great flavor, I did add some water a couple of times because it was drying up, a total of 3/4 cup Just do that from the beginning, I also always use low sodium soy, gravy was excellent over the mashed potatoes. The soy and the french onion soup was a very nice combination==highly recommend!
