I've always enjoyed cooking and learned so much from my Mom and my Grandma. My earliest memory of being in the kitchen was when I was about 5 yrs. old, watching Grandma making and kneading dough for pizza, and how she and my Aunties would be canning the bounty from Grandpa's garden. Italian and Sicilian recipes handed down, any kind of dessert and a few favorite cookie recipes. My grandsons love Mexican and I finally got around to making empanadas which turn out pretty good. All things Holiday, from Turkey & trimmings, Lasagna and rice balls at Christmas and Easter, my Grandma's spinach rolls that one of my grandsons eats straight out of the oven ! Anything I cook that my grandsons devour and leave no left-overs. A roast beef that should have been a pot roast but I put it in the oven, we could have made soles for our shoes.
