Used light brown sugar instead of dark. Used milk chocolate (about a cup more than was required). Left off nuts due to a nut allergy in my house. Delish. Delish. Delish. I snuck a taste while warm and whoa...amazing!

Better Than Brad Pitt Cake

Indonesian Pork Tenderloin

Will use much less soy sauce next time. Came out a little too salty for my family. Meat stayed tender, but took much longer to cook on grill. We had to put it back out two times.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

The chicken turns out amazing!!! I put the veggies in a grill basket...much easier than threading them all. Chicken is all on kabobs. I also cut fresh pineapple rings and grill those for a little extra sweetness to the meal. Just a perfect summer dish!

Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Fantastic! Added a little bit of cilantro and went easy on the green pepper. Did add some jalapeno peppers to the mix. Also, just put everything in food processor and it turned out fine and was one less step. GREAT!!!!!!

Creme Brulee French Toast

I used Dulce de Leche liquer instead of the Grand Marnier. I also used an Italian bread and used 10 slices. I did no flip through cooking and thought that it still turned out fine. Next time I absolutely will flip it out onto another tray as soon as it comes out of the oven. This was scrumptious!!! I wish I had some now! BTW...if you can eat more than two pieces I will be shocked...its super rich!!!

Garlicky Summer Squash and Fresh Corn

My husband avoids veggies for the most part, but he loved this! He said all veggies should taste this good. I got a little heavy handed on the olive oil and the garlic. I didn't have fresh parsley so I used dry, and thought it was fine.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

First time I made this it was a total disaster.The cake just wouldn't cook. Second time, I bought a yellow cake mix with much less pudding in it, only 1/2 cup. I raised the oven temp to 350 degrees. I let it cook for 1 hour and 5 minutes. Now that I got through the quirks, this will be a regular, as my toddler can't get enough!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I would recommend cutting this recipe in half. I made great sized cookies and got 72 out of the batch! I thought the batter seemed a bit dry, and was worried the cookies would be as well! I was WRONG! The cookies came out great. My family ate and ate and ate!

Can't Get Enough Caramel Cookies!

I followed the advice of others, and added only a pinch of salt, a tsp of vanilla and a tbl spoon of Karo syrup. I thought it turned out well. Mine was a little crumbly in spots. I think this was from trying to score it while it was hot. I think had I left it alone until it was cooled and "hardened" then it would not have been crumbly at all. This is a SUPER sweet dessert. Yummy!

Apple Crumble Pie

I used the food processer to chop the apples, and it sliced them to perfection for this pie. I highly recommend as others have, mixing the apples and mix up before putting in the pie shell. This recipe will be kept around and used over and over!
