My favorite things to cook
I love cooking spicy stuff. Being from New Orleans, Tabasco is my friend! ;) And my new passion is my slow cooker so the meal is being made while I'm slaving away at work all day.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We love getting our son in the kitchen. He's always been a bit of a picky eater, but those horizons are much broader now that he has a hand in making the meals. And he's gotten quite good at it too!

Practically perfecting my mom's Almond flavored white cakes and her homemade icing.

I can't make a decent roux to save my life! Eventually, I guess I'll get there! haha
