Banana Sour Cream Bread

The best banana bread I have ever made! I didn't change anything. It came out perfectly, not to moist not to dry. I did have to cook the loaves longer then 1 hour. It took 1.5 hrs.

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

This was an excellent recipe. I did what other reviewers mentioned and reduced the amount of salt. I also did the dip in flour before the batter. There was left over batter so I added some heat to make it spicier and sliced some red peppers and dipped them in the batter and fried them. They turned out very tasty, almost better then the fish. I will definetly be using this recipe again.

Peaches 'n' Cream Gelatin Dessert

This dish was simple to make and delicious! I did what other reviewers mentioned and doubled up the creamy filling and it was perfect. Would be great for company.

Coconut Cream Cake I

This was the best cake I ever had! I'm not a big cake fan but I love coconut and that is what inspired me to make this cake. I didn't change much only one thing and that was that I didn't have coconut extract. The cake still had a nice coconut flavor. The cake was very moist. I will be using this cake for company or to take to events from now on.

Best Ever Muffins

I did two varations of this recipe. The first one I did the recipe exactly as written except I added chocolate chips. The second recipe I got really adventurous, I added a diced mango and subsituted 1 cup of whole wheat flour in place of the white flour. Then I made a coconut struesel topping. They turned out very tasty.

Winter Energy Cookies

Very tasty and addictive cookies. If you have a convection oven don't cook them for the amount of time mentioned in the recipe. Lower the temperature or cook for less time. My first batch was a little to hard so the next batch I cooked for less time and they turned out nice and chewy. Also I used pecans instead of walnuts.

Black Bean Hummus

I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious this recipe turned out. I would even go as far as to say that it's better with black beans then garbanzo beans. I didn't change anything, it's perfect as written.

Apple Cake V

This was really delicious & rich, I served it at a baby shower and got asked for the recipe a couple times. Like others suggested I spiced it up by adding cinnamon and nutmeg. Next time I make this I would do as others suggested and decrease the amount of oil and add applesauce it was a little to greasy.

Marinade for Steak I

This was o.k. Used it for marinating small slices of steak for cooking on hot stone. Everyone preferred my maui rib/steak marinade over this one. Something was missing, not sure what. I will have to try this one again.

Carrot Cake III

Great Carrot Cake recipe. Turned out very moist. I added about 1/2 cup of raisins. Didn't seem right to have carrot cake with no raisins. The icing was also very good. Family loved it as well.

Apple Crumb Pie

Excellent apple pie recipe. Nice change from traditional apple pie with the raisins and walnuts. I did as others had mentioned by adding 2 extra tablespoons of flour. Very nice texture not runny at all. Thanks for the tips.

Spicy Three Pepper Hummus

My daughter and I loved this recipe. I've always made the traditional hummus recipe but I will now use this one instead, love the extra zing from the peppers. I also used dry organic chickpeas that I soaked and cooked. Very yummy!
