This is THE PIE that you want. This recipe is so good, that I put 8 pumpkins in the freezer so I can make it year round. Super Easy & Super Delicious!! Made even better with fresh grated nutmeg :)

We love this recipe! One Christmas, I had to make 3 separate pans: one as is, one with marshmallows, and one to travel 7 hours home. You can't go wrong with this winner.

I love this recipe! I am so glad to find a carrot recipe that doesn't have brown sugar. These are 100% delicious.

Absolutely Delicious Green Bean Casserole from Scratch

I will never make this again. The sour cream was too overpowering (and we love sour cream!). The lemon was a little much.

I exactly followed the recipe, and the texture was gross and it was flavorless.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

One of the few foods that escape me is the quintessential chocolate chip cookie, but no more!! These cookies are fabulous and are exactly what you're looking for. I use a cookie scoop to dish them out.

YUM, YUM, YUM!!! I added a can of tomato sauce (our preference) and a 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic, but otherwise it's fantastic! How wonderfully quick and easy - great for a weeknight dinner.

EXCELLENT AS WRITTEN!! I used Barilla no-boil noodles (noodles fit an 8x8 pan), doubled the recipe & made 4 - 8x8 pans (we ate one that night & froze the rest).

Sweet Potato Pie I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2005
This was absolutely the best sweet potato pie I've ever made. 2 CUPS MASHED SWEET POTAOTES is the key to it's perfection. All my sweet potato pie connoisseurs wanted more & I believe that is the best way to rate a recipe :)

Baked Spaghetti Squash Lasagna Style

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
Tasted okay, nothing special. The squash was a workout to halve lengthwise, but that's not the recipes's fault. I give it 4 stars simply because my friend's extremly picky husband gobbled it up & asked for the recipe.

Biscotti

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
Super Easy!! I love that I don't have to let butter come to room temperature for this recipe. I had it in the oven 20 minutes after I print the recipe. It is a huge hit with all who have tried it. I baked mine on my Silpat mat & it was so easy to take off the pan & cut & repan. If you can use anise, do use it. It can be hard to find. I found mine in a discount grocery store, but my grandfather-in-law finds it at a compounding pharmacy (they are more common than you think - try the yellow pages). It gives your biscotti an authentic taste that many people just can't place (it tastes kind of like licorice), but don't let the anise keep you from trying this recipe. A+++ for a super easy Christmas gift recipe. Give with chocolate spoons & cappuccino mix.

My Crab Cakes

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2005
I've been waiting for a recipe like this for a while. It is fabulous!! I found LUMP CRAB IN THE FOIL PACKETS like tuna comes in in the seafood cooler of Wal-Mart for around $5 per pack. We used 2 packs, 1 sleeve whole wheat ritz crackers & no bread crumbs. The pack crab is so worth the additional $3 per package. There is no draining involved. We made tartar sauce with a little mayo, sweet pickle relish, Old Bay, and lemon juice. It was better than crab cakes I've paid big bucks for!!

Quick Stuffed Tomatoes

I made this with chicken broth, and left out the mint & sun-dried tomatoes. I used dried basil (all I had). The filling was delicous, despite my tomatoes having no flavor.

An easy recipe that is popular with diners. It's a little too "processed" for my preference, so I won't serve it often, but it tastes good.

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2005
Yum!! My husband does not have much luck with hamburgers. We made these with ground chuck and got 8 beautiful burgers!! If I were to make them with plain old ground beef, I would probably make 6 burgers because they would shrink. We made them with regular milk and a few more bread crumbs and they were great! I think we have learned to really work your meat and it will stay together better than working it less. Thanks!!

Baked French Fries I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2005
Too much oil for the amount of potatoes & temperature. Next time, I'll spray with a Canola Oil Non-Stick Spray (like Pam). The fries were not crisp. I baked them on a Silpat mat and turned them over to brown evenly. The side on the mat browned better than the exposed side. Great starter recipe & excellent concept!!!

Cocoa Coffee Milkshake

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2005
Coffee lovers loved it - Chocolate lovers preferred more chocolate. If you want more chocolate, try substituting chocolate milk mix or syrup - something designed to dissolve in cold liquids. We did 4 shakes & 2 people (1 man & 1 woman) could not finish. Easy, prepared with items already in cupboard, and makes enough to be dessert. Biggest complaint - TOO THIN. Add less milk & you'll be fine.

FABULOUS!! I made this for a co-workers birthday & everyone raved over it. It was easy & the "Ready In" time of 2 hr 30 min is about right. It was amazingly delicious for such an easy recipe. A KEEPER.
