I am a stay at home mom of 3 (well, 4 if you count my husband!) My husband works full time and I am geting my home based business off the ground. We don't have alot of time so I'm always looking for quick recipes. I just love to cook food! I love anything that has flavor that jumps out at you! My biggest tradition if you will is to over extend myself anytime we have company! I stay in the kitchen making sure there's always good food and fresh iced tea! Otherwise the only tradition we really have is, every Christmas, we make this pumpkin nut bread passed down from my aunt. I'm really proud of myself when I get chocolate chips cookies at that perfect place where the outside is just slightly crispy and the inside is nice and chewy! Once, when I was 11, I was making red velvet cupcakes for my grandmother when she was sick. I was using one of her very old cookbooks for the recipe. When I got to the part where it said, "Add 1/4 teaspoon of soda" I, being a kid, thought it ment sodapop. So I added 1/4 teaspoon of diet Dr. Pepper! When they came out of the oven they looked like little volcanos!!!
