Bacon Chicken and Dumplings
The only reason this recipe got 2 stars is because the chicken tasted just passable. It looked very unappealing. I'm an experienced home cook and followed the recipe exactly. After looking at this when it was served, then tasting it, we ordered out. In the words of my daughter, "Eew Daddy, what is it??"

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast
Fantastic! I used a half a bone in turke breast but left everything else the same. I could have cut down the cooking time, but hey, it was a busy day. I rubbed the turkey breast with seasoned salt and chicken bullion powder. Then drizzled a couple of tablespoons of melted butter over it. DO NOT ADD WATER. You'll be tempted but dont do it. There will be plenty of drippings for a fantastic gravy! I just poured the drippings into a sauce pan, whisked in some flour and brought it to a boil. It was the best turkey gravy I ever made! My wife and little girl want to know when I'm making this again.
