About this Cook
I'm an accountant by trade. Cooking is where my only creativity lies. I enjoy reading, running, and gardening. In 2008, I began canning jams, fruits, and vegetables. I love finding and trying new recipes and then making them my own.
My favorite things to cook
breakfast, desserts, things that don't require a recipe.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom has a menu for each holiday that she uses every year. I always look forward to the holidays. It's a tradition I've added onto. Every year for Thanksgiving I make the pies. And in 2007 I added a lentil soup for New Year's Day.

Chocolate Pecan Pie III
This recipe was great. My past chocolate pecan pies people have found too chocolaty, but this one was the perfect mix.
