Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

This was amazing. I was very nervous about the roll cracking or staying together, but once rolled in the foil and parchment and frozen, it was beautiful and DELICIOUS!

Cheesy Beans and Rice

Definitely a throwback to when my father attempted to cook and could only do bean and rice casserole with Wolf Brand Chili. This is much healthier than his recipe and tastes better in my opinion. My 8 year old daughter insisted we have it again and was dissapointed when the leftovers were gone. A keeper for ease of making, relative healthiness and family approval!

The Best Banana Bread

meh, it's definitely 3 star. I have had much better banana bread in the past. Moist enough but flavorless, even after adding cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Made 6 large muffins and baked for 30 min. I'm still looking...

Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I liked this recipe as well as my mothers, though it had a tang to it, I suppose from the Italian mix. My husband enjoyed it immensely, saying that he doesn't like roast but he liked mine!

Chicken Tetrazzini I

I enjoyed this very much. Great comfort food. I used a can of cream of broccoli and cream of chicken and lightly dusted the top with seasoned bread crumbs as well as the parm.

Bread Pudding II

Oh, so good. I love bread pudding and this was a perfect recipe to satisfy my craving. Used cinnamon raisin bread and skipped the raisins. Used a rum sauce recipe I found on the site...delicious!

Cool Summer Cucumber and Tomato Toss

My husband liked this better than the other cucumber recipe I use, but I like my other better. This one was good, I just prefer the creamy cucumber salad to the vinegary one.

Mini Meatloaves

I havent made or had meatloaf in years. I added some sauteed onions to the mix before baking. Used a muffin tin for the same amount of time. Me and my family LOVED this recipe! So easy and soooo delicious!

I dont think the flavor of these beans is enough to warrant all the extra fat added to them. They were pretty good, but I think I'll opt for healthier next time.

Authentic Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

The beans took forever to cook and still weren't soft by the time the meal was served. Will adjust by using canned beans and minute rice next time. Same spices, though. They were good.

Triple Berry Crisp

Grilled Fish Tacos with Chipotle-Lime Dressing

Not bad fish tacos. Loved the sauce, but there was too much of it. Felt like it went to waste. I baked the fish as I don't have a grill, but I think it would be better grilled.
