Vietnamese Chicken Cabbage Salad
This was pretty good. I used one large, juicy lemon but would recommend that you use two. This was crisp and cold and perfect for summer, unfortunately I am currently surrounded by about a foot of snow. Which got me thinking that this would be really good heated up on the stove top for about 5 min. I didn't try that though. This is also nice because you can make it ahead of time.

Amazing Greek Pasta
Excellent recipe!! My family loved it! I cooked it with the lid off and liked the thick chuncky sauce that resulted. We also loved the hot flavor of the red pepper. We have made this sauce several times and highly recommend it. We served it over a whole wheat pasta with reduced fat feta. Really yummy!

Beaker's Vegetable Barley Soup
My family LOVED this recipe. It is a little rare to have everyone excited about the same meal but this recipe accomplished that!I added a leek and only put in about 2/3c barley. I also used fresh garlic minced instead of the powder. This recipe has already become a regular dish in our home. I am senitive to hot spices so I only used 1/2 the amount of curry. This was still really warm. The family liked it like this but I may used just a little less next time. This is definately worth a try!!
