I'd never made fresh asparagus before I tried this recipe. Even after halving the butter and oil it was slightly greasy, but otherwise great. I drained the asparagus on some papertowels after I cooked them to remove some of the grease. My 7 year old son absolutely loved this and ate all of his veggies before he touched anything else on his plate. I'll make this again but try a little less butter next time.

Ruby-Red Strawberry Sauce

This sauce was excellent and easy to prepare. After reading several reviews, I used OJ instead of the concentrate. I made it to pour over pancakes and the sauce was a major hit with my son and husband. I'll definitely be making this again.

Cinnamon Coffee Cake II

Wow! My husband asked me to make a coffee cake for his birthday and since I'd never made one, this recipe sounded doable. It was fantastic. The local supermarket didn't have butterscotch pudding, but they did have a pumpkin spice kind and I used that instead. I also used 3/4 applesauce and 1/4 oil. Hubby loved it and so did my son. We will definitely make this again!

Bacon and Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms

These mushrooms are always a hit at parties and are there are never any leftovers. I use regular mushrooms and cook about 6 slices of bacon because I peel the fatty part off before chopping it. I sprinkle the tops with red pepper flakes before baking.

Four Cheese Sauce

This sauce is a hit in my family. I've made it several times and serve it over pierogies instead of pasta. I add a little pepper and garlic powder to spice it up some. Last time I made it I accidently added 1 cup too much cheese but it still turned out pretty good.

Apricot Chicken I

My mom used to make something like this when I was growing up and I loved it, so I had a lot of hope for this recipe. The onion soup was way too overpowering, but the chicken was juicy and I didn't mind the sweetness. I'm planning on making it again but I'll omit the onion soup and add some pepper flakes and minced garlic to give it a little kick.

Simply Potatoes® Easy Shepherd's Pie

I needed a new shepherd's pie recipe and this one definitely fit the bill. No one in my family likes onions so I omitted them, and I substituted green peas instead of the beans because I already had them on hand. I think next time I'm going to add some fresh mushrooms to the mix. My 7 year old son loved this recipe and asked if it could be added to the menu again soon.

Banana Crumb Muffins

By far the best banana muffin recipe I've ever tried. I've brought these to brunches and to the office and always get complimented on them. I don't change a thing about the recipe...it's fantastic as is.

Overnight Apple Cinnamon French Toast

I love this recipe and it has become a Christmas morning tradition in my family. Both my mother and mother in law rave about it - the best thing is how easy it is to put together! I only use 1 cup of milk to help eliminate sogginess, and I also use 1 1/2 cans of pie filling because I can't get it all to fit in the pan. Spray the tin foil with some Pam before covering the pan; it will help prevent the bread from sticking during baking.

Sticky Buns II

Quick, easy, and delicious!! After reading that some others had problems with the dough, I added slightly less milk and refrigerated the dough for a few minutes before rolling. It still stuck a little, but not too bad. I made a glaze with 2 1/2 tbs confectioners sugar, 1 tbs milk and 1/8 tsp of orange extract and drizzled it over the bottoms of the rolls before inverting them. The only thing I had problems with was they stuck to the tin; I'll wait only 5 minutes before removing next time. Fantastic recipe!

Peanut Butter Cookies VI

This cookie is missing something...can't quite put my finger on it. They did turn out very soft, but the flavor was lacking, even though I did double the peanut butter like a lot of previous reviewers did.

Sarah's Banana Bread Muffins

This recipe is awesome. I don't like nuts and didn't have any coconut, so I added raisins instead, which turned out great. I also added 1 tsp vanilla and a sprinkling of cinnamon. Definitely a keeper!!
