About this Cook
Have loved to cook even as a child i would watch my parents cook.
My favorite things to cook
Manicotti, banana nut bread, chicken fried steak, and sausage and biscuit gravy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
making Manicotti with the girls.
My cooking triumphs
Keeping the breading on fried chicken....I finally mastered it.
My cooking tragedies
When i was 18 i made a recipe that called for chopped bell pepper, i thought it was the same a crushed red pepper so i used that insted. My husband dished up a plate took a bite and immediatly spit it into the garbage. He asked me what i did and i told him. He then gave me a cooking lesson on the diffrences between crushed red pepper and bell pepper. Wow no wonder we got divorced!!!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos
Thank you so much for this simple tasty recipe. the only thing i added was about 1 tsp cumin, and 1/2 can of rotels, which i drained and reserved 3Tlbs of juice to add.I think your garlic amount is perfect. I just ate mine and spooned some addition rotels on top. Love Em. thanks for great simple recipe.

Baked Potato Soup
Sorry, but I was not impressed at all with this recipe. First off i thought it was too watery and I had to add more flour. I think this has too much chicken broth in it.Secondly i thought the basil was too overpowering would omit next time. I really hate leaving a bad review but this tasted like cream of basil soup to me. I even added more bacon than recipe called for and added celery too.
