Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Loved it! I followed the suggestions and put all ingredients(except the barley) into the crock pot at one time (no cooking the meat ahead or cooking the veggies on the stove). Not only that but my meat was still frozen when I put it in the crock pot!!! It turned out excellent. My husband loved it and raved about having fresh soup.

German Chocolate Cake III

As others have said this is the recipe on the German Chocolate box with the change in the flour (cake vs. regular and 1/2 cup more). This recipe is delicious! It is a favorite of my family.

Blueberry 'S' Pie

I made this with 4 cups of frozen blueberries. I mixed 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of corn starch to the blueberries before adding. It was absolutely delicious. The whole family loved it! This is a keeper. Good enough to serve to guests.

Jalapeno Hummus

I must have done something wrong because my initial try was really dry. My guess is that I didn't add enough jalapeno juice. So I added olive oil and that fixed the problem. It was good when it was first mixed but much better when it had sat in the refrigerator for a while. The flavors really came together.

Easy Cheesy Cream of Broccoli Soup

This could not be any easier and it tasted yummy too! One of my children thought it was too cheesey but that is a personal taste thing. Made with cream of mushroom because that is all I had. Will make again!

Potluck Spareribs

I used the crockpot for these and they were fantastic. I didn't make any changes to the sauce. We use the crock pot liners so there was no clean up and everyone in my family had seconds. Now I call that a great family dinner!

Cheesy Mexi-Rice Casserole

I made this for a bunco party and it went over really well. I made it for 15 servings and it could have feed many, many more! The only change I made was to use straight processed cheese and not the mexican-style but it didn't seem to make a big difference. I will be making this again!

Mini Tacos

I made these for a bunco party but they would be great for anytime too. The only change I made is that I used 1/2 beef and 1/2 spicy sausage. Everyone asked what was in them and wanted the recipe. Several people said that they were so unique!

Fiesta Pinwheels

I made these for a bunco party and they were a big hit. In fact, my children were eating them before the party and I have had them as a snack since then. I would highly recommend. It was a learning curve for me to get them rolled up as tight as I wanted but I got better and they all tasted great.

Calico Cheese Dip

I made this for a bunco party and was a little worried that I wouldn't like it. Well was I surprised! It was really, really good and my favorite dish that night. I followed the directions exactly and would not change a thing. I am eating left overs and it is still great.

Absolutely loved this recipe! You cannot get any easier than this! It was tender and juicy. I used the listed cut of meat and it was great, didn't switch to the Boston Butt.

Best Ziti Ever

This is a great recipe. I skiped the step to heat up the sauce, it was not needed and I didn't want to dirty another pan. The left overs were great the next day too! Highly recommend!
