About this Cook
I am a wife and stay at home mom who LOVES to cook. I love comfort food that I can tweak a bit to make a bit more healthy for my family. I am one of those people who cooks almost every single night for dinner-I treasure the time with my little family around our dinner table!
My favorite things to cook
I love to make asian food (just made Moo-Shu Chicken last night and it was AWESOME) and I absolutely adore soups...but only make them with homemade stocks.
My cooking triumphs
Lasagna...every single bit from scratch!
My cooking tragedies
It never fails that I ruin the most simple food : Hamburgers. I just cannot do them...we hit up 5 Guys for those little gems.

Chicken Marsala
This recipe sounded much better than it really was. I made it tonight, added more marsala, cream and fresh parsley and it STILL lacked something...I just can't put my finger on it though. Won't be using this rendition of chicken marsala again.

Basil Pesto Sunshine Sandwich
This was a great sandwich. I add a portabello mushroom that I had marinated for a couple of hours in balsamic vinegar and olive oil and then grilled. To me, that made the sandwich sheer perfection! Yummy...

Sesame Lime Steak Wraps
This is a good quick recipe that also happens to be fairly healthy! It needed a little something else after I reduced it, so I added fresh ginger and a teaspoon of red curry paste along with a bit of rice wine vinegar...the result...awesome! I did however, think that the amount of honey specified was a little heavy, so next time I will reduce it by half!
