This also makes a great alternative to spinach dip when you add parmesan cheese. I did not have any cream of celery soup so I found a recipe and made my own. It was easy and my husband loved it. Much less fat than traditional creamed spinach or spinach dip.

This was delicious and easy. I increased the onion a little and cut the amount of milk back to 1 1/2 cups. I also added a stalk of sliced celery and a clove of pressed garlic. I sauted the celery and garlic with the onion. My husband loved it!

I just made these with my granddaughter and they turned out great. The only thing I will change in the future is a little less salt. I did increase the cinnamon to 1 tsp as suggested in another review. I would suggest to those who had problems with the dough to just roll the cookies out directly on the baking sheet and pull away the excess dough using a table knife to push it away in the close places. You are using an ungreased cookie sheet so it does not affect the dough and this is much easier than trying to move them once they are cut out. You can also chill less time if you do it this way.
