Great base recipe. You can add to it or leave out to your taste. We skipped the sugar, lemon juice, hot sauce and steak sauce and it still tasted great. Pappy's Steak Sauce was perfect for this!

Fresh Strawberry Upside Down Cake

I made this as is but it needed a little more to it. I made vanilla pudding using a 6 oz box and then a tub of cool whip. I mixed the two together and then layered the cake between the cool whip/pudding mixture with more strawberries. It was delish!

Coconut Cream Cake I

I think this should be called Aloha Cake! What a dream! This cake is wonderful. Next time I think I will use about 8oz of coconut cream (it's really fattening if you read the label) and 1/2 a can of sweetened condensed milk. All of the milk mixture didn't absorb into the cake. I left my cake in a bundt cake pan when pouring 1/2 the milk mixture in and then with the other 1/2 I had flipped the cake over. My whipped cream topping came out weird, maybe I whipped it too long, so I made it with the Cool Whipped Frosting that has a ton of great reviews with the whipped cream I just made. Very good cake! Aloha!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

I made this so many times when I first found the recipe my husband had to tell me that he loved the recipe, but he was tired of blueberries. This is my FAVORITE blueberry muffin recipe. No more Jiffy muffins for us.

Sorry, but we did not care for this dish. It reminded me of a jumble between Hamburger Helper, Tamale Pie and Beef Stroganoff. We will not be making this one again.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Easy, easy Alfredo sauce. The next day, when heating up the pasta, it doesn't separate into that oil yucky mess that some sauces do. It makes a huge batch and is a bit rich...but YUM!

Cool Whipped Frosting

Quite light and fluffy. After a couple days it seems to yellow and get a sticky finish. 2nd time I made it: I used coconut extract instead of vanilla for frosting the Coconut Cream Cake 1 from this site. Very yummy.
