I made this for Christmas dinner and it was a HUGE HIT!! I followed other readers advise and cut out the soy sauce, however, I followed everything else exactly. The meat was just falling apart, it was so tender and juicy. The flavor combo of red wine, garlic, and onion was fantastic!!

I made Rum Cream, instead of Irish Cream by replacing the wiskey with Bacardi Coco Rum. It is excellent! Next time I may omit the almond extract, everyone who has tasted it has commented on how "almondy" is tastes. I will also try half and half instead of the heavy cream...it was really rich! Overall, a keeper! Who knew making expensive, famcy liqueurs was this simple?

Always a crowd pleaser, guys especially love this! My husband's friends always request this one and it's funny because they think it is a really complicated and magical recipe! We call them magic bars.
