Rock Salt Encrusted Prime Rib

gorgeous. I've had this 3 times now and have never been disappointed. Be sure to have an au jus sauce on the side, and make your yorkshire's from butter.... I've never had prime so moist and perfect. A little messy, but so is a super to remember.

Scottish Shortbread II

I tried to fine my mother's scottish shortbread recipe which I've lost - and this is the closest thing to it. Use 1 full cup of butter instead to make it less crumbly, and of course, much more buttery. That's how I remember it, so take it or leave it. Thanks for sharing!

Irish Whiskey Flat Iron Steak

my boyfriend loved it, I thought it was ok. I trust his judgement given he's a chef and has better knowledge than I do. I just found it was a little bland. The peppery taste was nice, but still.... was missing something.

Chocolate Dipped Orange Biscotti

I particularly liked this recipe since it yielded such a small amount, perfect for a dinner party and no risk of eating all the left overs. Very yummy. It has inspired me to try more. I also loved the lack of butter, making it a little bit more appearling

Blackberry Spinach Salad

This salad is a simple blend of various flavours that packs a total punch. I used raspberries since I couldn't find blackberries, and they were just the right amount of tart to substitute. I used balsamic vinegrette with a touch of honey.

Sun-Dried Tomato Dip

I wasn't a huge fan myself, but all my friends enjoyed it. I found that it lacked flavour and kick. I would definately recommend using more than just a few splashes of hot sauce.

Fantastico! Or, I guess in the heritage of the cookie, I enjoyed these a 'wee' too much. Please note, if you freeze the cookies, the frosting separates and they need to be re-coated. Time consuming, but very tasty. I will never buy these again. Thank you!

Blackened Tuna

This is super easy, super tasty and makes my kitchen smell like the Caribbean! I tend to undercook the tuna just a little in order to keep the flavour. And it takes about 10 minutes complete.. the 20 minute estimate is very generous. Enjoy!

Maple Salmon

My brother made this recipe for my family and it was great. He marinated it for most of the afternoon, then coated the salmon in ground black pepper to seal in the flavour. Excellent and Easy!

Easy Eggplant Pita

Very tasty. However, I would recommend cooking the eggplant for a few minutes longer, as it required more time to soften while not sacrificing the other veggies. Also be careful what kind of pitas you buy... I couldn't open mine into pockets! I used dill ranch instead of plain ranch and it was yummy.
