Lastnight was fun trick or treating with the kids, although it rained the enitre time.  Now my task for the next month is to try to figure out things to make with all the left over candy!!!  Cookies and brownies will be no problem with the m&m's, snickers and reeses pieces, but my challenge comes woth the tootsie rolls, now and laters, and hard candies.  Hopefully if I make something good, great would be better, I will let you know.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

have you ever seen the kitty litter cake? You use the tootsie rolls in that recipe. Now, can you find someone who will eat it....?

About Me
Mother of 3. I have undergone Gastric Bypass Surg in 10-05, so I am constantly looking for things that my family will enjoy and that I can eat to meet my daily requirements.
My favorite things to cook
Southern, Mexican, Italian and baking
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my mother was alive, she and I would cook down home southern meals. Now, I am teaching my daugher the same southern style meals, but making them lower in fat, and better for the heart. ( although I do miss the bacon grease in everything)
My cooking triumphs
Making a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for a friend. Unfortunatly I didn't get a picture of it before it was cut.
