About Me
Mother of 3. I have undergone Gastric Bypass Surg in 10-05, so I am constantly looking for things that my family will enjoy and that I can eat to meet my daily requirements.
My favorite things to cook
Southern, Mexican, Italian and baking
My favorite family cooking traditions
When my mother was alive, she and I would cook down home southern meals. Now, I am teaching my daugher the same southern style meals, but making them lower in fat, and better for the heart. ( although I do miss the bacon grease in everything)
My cooking triumphs
Making a beautiful and tasty wedding cake for a friend. Unfortunatly I didn't get a picture of it before it was cut.
