Reminds me of my ex wifes mexican surprise...not going into the surprise part, but anyway I added a can of cream of chicken for moisture, drained the other items added some hot sauce along with red pepper...came out great. Also added some left over mushrooms...surprise used to use a can of cream of mushroom too....but because I had the spare shroons, I didn't add it. Just as well, the consistency came out on the dot.

Yes to the northern beans...Plus I put a lot more peppers and onions in than the recipe called for. Plus some cilantro, jalopenos slices, red pepper and a couple splashes of Dave's Insanity Sauce-just right!

Added some red pepper plus a splah of hot sauce to liven it up a bit. Turned out great.
