Fruit Salad in Seconds

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2006
This is really good. You can use about any fruit and any flavor of yogart. It's funny how people who won't eat yogart will eat this fruit salad. I always feel guilty when they ask what the good stuff on the fruit is. I sometimes add a little cool whip as was suggested, but I think it's good with or without it.

World's Best Peanut Butter Fudge

This was really smooth and tasty, but a little soft. It was good, but I don't know if I would make it again.

Irish Chicken and Dumplings

This recipe is wonderful. I used lowfat soup and left out the potatos and peas. It was better that I expected! It's a wonderful comfort food!

Apple Cranberry Salad Toss

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2005
I took this salad to Thanksgiving dinner. I thought that it was really good, but nobody else was all that excited about it. I used Ken's steakhouse rasberry walnut vinaigrette. It will be good with some leftover turkey mixed in! Next time I will make it for a more adventerous crowd!

Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2005
This was good. I followed some of suggestions and a can of rotel. I also added a second can of creamed corn. Next time I'll add a little more garlic and cumin to make up for the extra corn. This will be a great new soup recipe to make this winter!

Spiced Pumpkin Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 20, 2005
I've made this the last two years. This year I left out the orange extract because and used vanilla extract instead. I figured it would appeal to more people that way. I've received several compliments and requests for the recipe. I think that it would be great with graham crackers.

This was really tasty! I followed some of the other reviews and added a second package of Italian dressing, beef broth, and a dash of ground red pepper. This meat had great flavor. I will definitely make this again!

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
This cake is a chocolate lovers dream! I made a lighter version by substituting applesauce for half of the oil and egg beaters for half of the eggs. I also used fat free sour cream. It was very moist and very yummy!

Aileen's Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2005
I made this for a baby shower today and got great reviews from both kids and adults. I really liked how quick and easy this was to put together. I made an ice ring as suggested with some of the punch and slices of orange, lemon, and lime. I think it would also be pretty just to float the fruit slices on top of the punch. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

Cassie's Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2005
These were moist and tasty. My family quickly devoured the entire pan. I added and handful of chocolate chips and substituted splenda for half of the sugar. It was more of a cakelike brownie, but still good.

Sarah's Salsa

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2005
We loved this salsa! My hubby is not easy to impress, but he really liked this. I used part fresh tomatoes and part rotel because I wanted to use up some of garden's tomatoes. I had to add a little salt too. This will be a staple in our house from now on!

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 11, 2005
This has a great creamy texture, but the flavor is kind of bland. I used half sour cream and half mayo as suggested by other reviewers. You need to add a lot of seasonings to this recipe, but it's a good starting point.

Biscotti Toscani

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2004
This was my first time making biscotti, and it was much easier than I thought it would be. I left out the orange zest and drizzled the chocolate on top instead of spreading it on the bottom. My husband loved these! I'm looking forward to making these for gifts.

Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Reviewed: May 13, 2004
This was a easy and good recipe. I made it to bring to work this morning. I only made half of the filling and spooned on some blueberry preserves before adding the top layer. Next time I may try it with a little more filling and preserves. I will be making this again and experimenting with different flavors of preserves! Thanks for the great recipe!

Strawberry Trifle

This recipe was great! I made it for Mother's Day. It tasted wonderful and had a beautiful presentation! I used a pound cake instead of the angel food cake. Next time I might try it with a lemon pound cake or lemon pudding. Thanks for the great recipe!
