Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
This was such an easy recipe to throw together. Next time I'll use a different Italian dressing because it didn't seem that "zesty" to me. It did make good shredded barbeque chicken sandwiches though. I would definitely make it again.

Chocolate Hazelnut Mocha Cappuccino Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
I would give this a 3, but my husband loved it so I gave it a 4. I really wanted to have more cappuccino flavor, but he loved because it didn't taste like cappuccino. I mixed some coffee flavoring into some chocolate syrup and drizzled it on top. I will probably make it again though because we love chocolate.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2007
I love this recipe! I used ff half & half instead of the cream and thickened it with cornstarch. I've made this many times with chicken & I can't wait to try it with shrimp, mmmmm! Thanks for this recipe!

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2007
This was quick and easy and tasted wonderful! I used thinly sliced chicken breasts because I figured they would cook more quickly. Once the chicken was finished I poured my sauce around the chicken and sprinkled mozarella over all of it. I covered and simmered until the cheese was melted. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe!

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: May 24, 2007
This wasn't particularly good, but it wasn't bad either. It was just meat and gravy. I guess that with all of the great reviews I was expecting something a little more special.

This is awesome! I made cupcakes and used whipped cream icing. This is perfect for when you're having a strawberry craving!

Sweet Mustard Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2007
The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5 is because it way too much butter. If you at least cut the butter in half and add some cayenne to kick it up a little, it is wonderful. I was in a hurry so I made it on the stovetop and it turned out just fine. My husband and I really liked this and will add to the regular rotation. Thanks for this super easy and delicious recipe!

Chicken Enchiladas

These turned out great! I had to substitute cream of mushroom, since that was what I had on hand, and they were fine. These will go in my recipe box for many future dinners!

Pumpkin Pie Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2006
This was awesome! I only added a couple of shakes of nutmeg and cloves, but it would've been fine without additional spices. I will look forward to this every Thanksgiving from now on!

Cream Cheese Frosting II

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2006
I really liked the flavor of this icing with pumpkin cake, but it was way too thin. After adding nearly a cup of powdered sugar, it was still thin, but tasty.

Double Layer Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2006
This pie was really good. Substituting mostly sugar free ingredients still made a great pie. The two layers were a wonderful combination and I will definitely be making this again!

Glazed Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
This was like eating a giant sweet and sour meatball. I was surprised at how much we enjoyed it. I followed some of the suggestions and used onion soup mix and also doubled the sauce. Next time I think I will just use a singe batch of the sauce. My husband liked this much better than our regular meatloaf (sorry mom).

Marinated Pork Strips

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2006
We put the tenderloin on the grill instead of in the oven. It was very tender and flavorful, but the sauce was salty even though I used low sodium soy sauce. I served the pork with sauce over rice and broccoli. I will definitely try this again.

Mandarin Orange Cake I

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2006
We really enjoyed this cake, especially the icing. I lightened it by using egg substitute for half of the eggs, apple sauce for half of the oil, sugar free pudding mix and light Cool Whip. I think next time I will use pineapple in the cake instead of oranges just because everyone thought it tasted more like pineapple anyway. Thanks for sharing this great recipe!

Beef Tips and Noodles

This was really easy, but really salty. I used milk instead of water and left out the mushrooms. I will probably try this again , but with some variations like reduced sodium cream of mushroom soup.

Quick and Easy Chicken Spaghetti

Reviewed: May 4, 2006
This a great busy night dinner. With all of the prep work done the night before, this can be on the table in about 30 minutes! I used leftover grilled chicken and added garlic, onions, and green bell peppers that have been sauteed for a few minutes. I also throw in a couple of dashes of chili powder. This is great with a green salad and Jiffy cornbread!

Cajun Chicken

I've used this on both chicken and shrimp. It added a lot of flavor, but was a little salty. I may have try a different Cajun seasoning next time. I really liked it with the shrimp.

Coconut Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2006
This cake was ok. I had to bake it alot longer than 30 minutes becaue it was still jigly in the middle. It was very moist, but at the same time it was crumbly. The best part was the toasted coconut. I probably won't make this again.

Honey Mustard Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 18, 2006
This was good, but a little sweet. That may have had something to do with the mustard that I used. I added some yellow mustard to add a little more zip. My husband really liked this. I will be making it often!
