I like to cook...I like to experiment with food. I appreciate good cuisine, of all types. Love to travel and try the local food....especially the street food....the authentic stuff. Some of my faves include Vietnamese, Indian, Spanish, and Peruvian cuisine.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole
My husband loved it, but I'm the one rating the recipe, and I didn't care for it myself. Too sweet and too rich. It would have been better if I just baked the sweet potato and ate it just on its own...healthier too. I'm giving it three stars however, because I'm sure my husband would want me to make it again.

Traditional Mashed Potatoes
I was really impressed with this recipe! I did follow recommendations of returning the drained potatoes back into the pot, I added more hot milk(I think a whole cup) and a little more butter. I boiled the potatoes with a few cloves of garlic and mashed it all up together. I also used garlic salt and onion powder to season it. Mashed up really well.
