Tom Ka Gai (Coconut Chicken Soup)

Wow... an interesting blend of flavours. If you are not a thai food lover make sure you serve this only as a side dish. It is very potent and has interesting after taste but I could never eat a hearty bowl of this like I could with homeade chicken noodle soup!

Thai Chicken

Chicken was very tasty. I used boneless breasts. It definitely was NOT too garlicky with the correct quantity of soy sauce. Perhaps if you decrease the soy sauce you should decrease the garlic? I thought it needed something more crunchy.. perhaps celery added with the onion? My 4 kids ages 2 to 8 adored this and wished I had made more! I will make it again.

Spaghetti With Peanut Butter Sauce

These were goopy and gloppy. Of 6 of us eating dinner, 1 enjoyed them, 1 thought they were edible and the rest could not even eat one bite! The sauce looked and tasted fine on its own but I will from now on leave my spaghetti to the italians and the peanut butter to dessert or breakfast!

Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Apple Filled Chicken in Pecan Creme Sauce

My company enjoyed this chicken.. I halved the sugar and doubled the wine as otherwise it got too thick! (different than others have said?) I used swiss cheese and gala apple and found that combination was yummy!

WOW WOW WOW! When you use this icing on the "Too Much Chocolate Cake" recipe found here you will never make another chocolate cake again. This icing is fabulous!!!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

If you don't like rich gooey chocolate, don't make this cake. I am a chocoholic and have made this several times. It has turned out delicious every time, but always turn down the oven half way through, otherwise it can get a little crispy on the outside. Great with cream cheese icing or alone with icing sugar sprinkled on it.

Grandma's Fudge Cake

"Awesome cake mom, make this again!" I used 2 cakes mixes and doubled the filling and icing which was not necessary. One very important hint, make sure the flour/milk mixture is COOL or you will not be able to make peaks in the filling. Also, the chocolate frosting part does take a while to thicken and does not get very thick... it all tastes great though!

Cherry Chicken Salad

Deep Dish Brownies

Pretty good, added extra cocoa and also found cooking time a little long... Even at 40mins I found the edges slightly dried out. If you don't like really sweet things, try frosting them with vanilla not chocolate frosting.

Chewy Chocolate Cookies I

Awesome chewy chocolate cookies.. especially right out of the oven. I found they went "stale" even more quickly then other cookies, and lost their chewiness over night. I will make them again! A good change from plain old chocolate chip cookies!

Peanut-Ginger Marinade

This was a big hit! I didn't have ginger so added a little extra garlic and was very tasty. I served it with white rice and carmelized onions. Definitely will make this again!
