This is a great simple soup. I Just finished it and am taking it to a friends for lunch. I am sure all the other variations were helpful according to preference, but I am giving it 5 starts AS IS. I was too lazy to do the onion and used onion powder and it was still great. I used spiced Italian sausage, and I did as recommended, drained and rinsed sausage. I bet it is even better after sitting a day!

It was easy and everyone asked for the recipe. It was a little something "extra" (curry) that just made this a treat for a potluck. I will definitely put this in my recipe box to make again and again. Thanks for sharing!

WOW! I had doubles the recipe and served this for the kids at church on Easter and they licked the plate! They could not believe it was lamb and we will be using this as a staple meal for any occasion. Thanks!!
