These grits were fantastic! I made substituted half and half for the milk to make it even creamier. Just keep in mind that this recipe makes a LOT of grits so if you only need it to serve 2-3 people you could cut the recipe in half. Great recipe - I will definitely make these again.

Cracked Sugar Cookies I

Delicious and very soft sugar cookies! The dough was delicious and the cookies were too. My husband loved these cookies! I dipped them halfway in melted chocolate for a cookie exchange and they went over really well.

Jamie's Cranberry Spinach Salad

Delicious! The first time I made this I left out sesame seeds and poppy seeds because I didn't have them on hand. The second time I made it I added them to the dressing and it was even better. I made this for Christmas and it was a big hit with my family.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

This has become one of our go-to recipes. My picky 19 month old even loves it, and it's a great way for me to get her to eat the broccoli and red peppers I put in it. My husband and I both really like this and it will be around for a long time to come.

Chocolate Butter-Creme Frosting

This was very good! I quadrupled the recipe to make enough frosting for a four layer cake. I also added a couple more ounces for a deeper chocolate flavor. I loved this recipe and will definitely make again.

Spinach and Orzo Salad

I served this as part of our Mother's Day meal and everyone enjoyed it. I thought the balsamic vinegar was a little pungent but it could have been the cheap brand I used. The salad was better after sitting a day in the fridge...really gave the orzo time to soak up the flavor. I will make this again but might try red or white wine vinegar.

Greek Pasta Salad with Shrimp, Tomatoes, Zucchini, Peppers, and Feta

I only made the dressing, and it was one of the best salad dressings I have ever had. I served it over lettuce, grape tomatoes, mushrooms, red onion, feta cheese, and green olives. I will never use bottled dressing again after eating this...hubby loved it too and he doesn't usually eat salad. Thanks for a very tasty dressing...my search for the perfect Greek dressing is finally over.

Cinnamon Rolls II

I wasn't too sure about these when I was making them, but they are really the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had. This was my first time making any type of bread, and I learned a few things with these. 1) Use a stand mixer to knead the dough. Makes it much easier. 2) don't roll the dough too thin; otherwise it will break when being rolled up. I also made these the night before baking and they turned out delicious, but a lot of the brown sugar filling leaked out into the bottom of the pan. This wasn't a problem though because it created a kind of sticky syrup at the bottom. So you have the stickiness on the bottom, cream cheese frosting on top, and soft tasty rolls in between. They reheated in the microwave really well too. I will definitely make these again and again and again...

Asian Lettuce Wraps

These were so good! I used leftover pork I made in the crockpot (just cook a pork roast in beef broth in a crock pot, also a recipe from this site) and it was delicious. Much cheaper than wraps we order at restaurants. I didn't have hoisin sauce so used Oyster sauce and it was so delicious. I really can't say enough good things about this, it definitely satisfied my craving for lettuce wraps. This recipe is definitely a keeper
