I am currently a junior at UNC Wilmington and I'm majoring in marketing.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook almost anything, but dessrts are my favorite. I love to dress them up and wow everyone at family gatherings.
My cooking triumphs
The first pie I made for a church funtion. It was a recipe from my first cookbook. I garnished it with Hershey Hugs kisses and strawberries. It was gorgeous.
My cooking tragedies
I put the plastic lid on the pan of brownies and then put it in the oven to bake. Half an hour later, I hae a batch of brownies with a pool of plastic in the middle!

Sugar-Coated Pecans
Very tasty. I also used a mix of brown and white sugar. I was afraid they would stick, so I baked the nuts on a piece of aluminum foil sprayed it with Pam. It made for a very easy clean up.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies
This recipe turned out great. The dough is a lot easier to handle after it has been chilled for a while. I didn't have any sprinkles, so I lightly crushed some M&Ms and put them on top.
