I'm not much for spicy food so I used less crushed red pepper flakes than called for. Also, I wanted to try this with the lime juice, as suggested, but forgot to pick some up, so I had to use the vinegar. Even so, I really liked this and will make it again.

Curried Apple and Leek Soup

Tasty, but a little spicy for me. Yogurt helps alot. I will cut the curry some next time and add another apple as I didn't really get the flavor of it.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Fluffy White Frosting

I loved this frosting. I did make a couple of adjustments. First. I used 1 cup and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Second, I used almond extract instead of vanilla extract. I had no problem getting the mixture to stiffen up. Just turned up the hand mixer to almost full throttle. Yeah Hah.

Lemon Herb Barbeque Sauce for Chicken

I too made a few small changes out of necessity. I also used olive oil in place of the veg oil. Instead of minced onion, I used minced shallot. I was a little short on lemon juice (I juice my own) so I hard to add a tad of water to make up 1/4 cup. 1/2 the salt and I ran 2 large garlic cloves thru a press. Also used a wisk to blend. Here's the important part; my son who hates just about anything, loved it.

Vegetarian Shepherd's Pie II

I couldn't get over how good this was. I couldn't get the yeast spread either, but I mixed a little warm water with dry yeast and then measured out the right amount. I also substituted 2 yams and 1 red potato for the topping. I also added a little water after the lental/ barley mixture had cooked for a bit. Thanks for wonderful veg dish.

No Bake Cookies III

I have been looking for this exact recipe for two years (which is approx. when I lost my ONE copy). This is my childrens favorite cookie recipe and I now have MORE THAN one copy. Awesome cookie! thnx
