Chayote Squash Side Dish
I'm not much for spicy food so I used less crushed red pepper flakes than called for. Also, I wanted to try this with the lime juice, as suggested, but forgot to pick some up, so I had to use the vinegar. Even so, I really liked this and will make it again.

New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp

Curried Apple and Leek Soup
Tasty, but a little spicy for me. Yogurt helps alot. I will cut the curry some next time and add another apple as I didn't really get the flavor of it.
