Amazingly Good Eggnog
I follow the recipe exactly except for a change in the alcohol. I replace the rum with a mix similar to Martha Stewarts (but cut in half): 1 1/2 cups good bourbon like Makers Mark, 1 cup quality Cognac, and 1/2 cup Dark Rum. Refrigerate overnight. My neighbors and relatives beg for it every Christmas.

Pineapple Cherry Ice Cream
Made this a few weeks back for a graduation party. The kids are begging for it again for the 4th of July. Excellent!

Down Home Baked Beans
I also made this exactly as the recipe said, with Bush's Baked Beans. It is indeed a bit sweet, which the kids loved! For a mostly adult crowd, I'd probably use 1/2 - 3/4 cup brown suger instead of 2 cups.
