My husband used to love to do all the cooking, he was good at it too. After being married about 7 years he decided to give it up and leave it all up to me. Which I think is a good thing since we seem to eat more salads than when he did the cooking. I use a lot of Rachael Ray recipes, they're quick and easy; and America's Test Kitchen, they test their recipes 20 times to make sure the recipe is consistant every time.

My kids love helping out whenever we make meatballs and meatloaf.
My cooking triumphs
My grandmother is good for recipes that include a little of this or that. She's not really one for exact measurements, so when I make a recipe of hers and it looks and tastes the same as when she makes it, I get really excited and I make sure I share the measurements I came up with with my sister.
My cooking tragedies
Over cooking spaghetti or burning biscuits.

Fresh Fruit Ice Cream in a Baggie
My kids used a recipe very similar to this in Pre-School. It was a great project for them, everyone had tons of fun. Surprisingly it works! Their arms got a little tired from all the shaking, but moms were on hand to help. You have to eat it fast, it melts quickly. Maybe if you put it in the freezer after, but then who wants to wait!

Lime Chicken Soft Tacos
Great base, I only had chicken thighs, but I seasoned the chicken with Adobo seasoning and added about 3 tbsp of tomato sauce. My husband loved it. Will definately make again.
