I really wanted these to be amazing. I read all of the reviews and decided I was going to go with the exact recipe with one exception. I refrigerated the dough for about an hour. There is nothing wrong with the taste of these cookies but the are very difficult to work with. All the time you save with prep you waste after baking. You have to watch like a hawk in the oven because they go from under to over very quickly. You also have to time your removal from cookie sheet precisely...too short cookie literally falls apart in your hand making a yummy mess. Too long and you need a crow bar to get them off of tray, again, yummy mess. I ended up only getting about 10 servable cookies. the rest were a yummy crumble.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

My boys love sloppy joes but hardly ever get them because I don't like them. Well that is about to changed. Laurie, I would say you just really have a great recipe here. Super easy to adjust for your own personal taste and what you have on hand. I love those kind of recipes! This time I added some smoked paprika and a little crushed red pepper flakes since the kiddo wasn't home. Thanks, Laurie!

Pioneer Woman's Onion Strings

Thanks so much for recommending this through the Recipe Exchange for me Mominator. These really turned out great. I did adjust the spices according to my families taste. The were amazingly delicious with my vidalia onions.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

This is a go to for me. I always have the ingredients on hand anyway so it is great last minute. It is a 5 star as written. I do make some changes because I can't seem to help myself. I use 1/2 sour cream & 1/2 mayo. I also add some bacon bits. Ymmmm. Thanks for the post.

Simple Carnitas

Ok, I did change this recipe by adding ingredients I had on hand. I'm rating it anyway because what absolutely made my carnitas was the oranges. That beatiful underlying citrus flavor was just amazing. Thanks, Ken!!

Creamy Stove Top Mac And Cheese-ci Recipe

YAY...I am the first one to rate my favorite mac-n-cheese recipe. I have made this many times to rave reviews. I have made this with and without the onions~good both ways. I have also made this with a little more liquid and "held" it both in the oven and crockpot for parties or big dinners. Part of the fun is changing up the cheeses and seeing what you like. My son always gets to choose at least one of the cheeses. It is really good with a smoked cheese or a dash of smoked paprika too! Thanks, Keni~You Rock!

Apple, Brie, and Walnut Salad

Let me start by saying part of what makes this salad delicious is using a brie or camabert pair with the apples. It is I great combination. I realize it a little difficult to work with but so worth it. What I do is to cut the wheel into quarters and the just pinch small pieces of cheese with your fingers and drop it onto the salad. That way your not getting any of the rind, which can be tough or bitter, and you are not trying to battle with a knife & soft cheese. Whew, I feel better now. This is definitely a five star. I used Sesame Ginger dressing (newmans) and it paired great with the ingredients. Thanks for the post!

Roasted Garlic Lemon Broccoli

This was a hit with adults and kids alike. I did add a dash of sesame oil because of personal preference. But, I think this is a hit exactly as written! Thanks for helping me get veggies down my families throats!lol

Diane's Colcannon

This was really, really good. I am not a big fan of cooked cabbage but my Irish DH requires corned beef & cabbage in some form for St. Patricks Day. Since I don't like corned beef either I just made my meal out of this wonderfully delicious Colcannon. Who knew? I know have my cabbage recipe from now on! Thank you, thank you for the post!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Really, seriously good! Sauce was amazing. Recipe is simple. I browned chicken and then stuck in oven while I finished everything else. DH & DS both said I can make this anytime. The highest compliment in my house.

Chicken Scarpariello

My new to cooking neighbor asked my for a chicken recipe. I gave her this one and said I had been wanting to try it. Since she invited us for dinner I can report this recipe is easy and turned out very tasty. The flavors are very clear and clean. I would recommend doubling the sauce. I may add a few more spices next time.

This was delish!! I used baby bella shrooms. I used cooked shrimp (what I had) and diced it up. Some of my shroom were smallish. Only thing I added was some croutons spun through the food processor. I did pre-bake the shrooms for about 10 min. to extract some of the moisture. Thanks, Ambi, for the post. These were the star of the party!

Chai Tea Mix

Made this for my son's gf for christmas. My taste testers (I don't like Chai Team) said it is definitely Starbucks quality! Only feedback was a little sweet. I used 2c. of sugar but will probably cut that back even a little more. Thank you SO much for this post.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs

Really good recipe as is. Also adaptable to taste. I kept the raw meat and veggies separate. Use what ever veggies you have and like. I let the kiddos choose their own kabobs items. Great way to get them to eat their veggies. Thanks for the post!
