I'm a children's librarian and the mother of 2 girls. My husband is Filipino-American, I'm Jewish American and our home cuisine spans a wide range of foods Pretty much everything I cook, especially with seasonal veggies from my garden and the farmer's market! My grandma's spaghetti sauce and my other grandma's pink applesauce and potato latkes. Making sticky buns from my mother-in-law's recipe that are almost as good as hers! And the Chanukah bash I throw at work every year--I cook the latkes right at work and bring in lots of homemade cookies and my renowned cheesecake. I am still trying to master "New York" pizza, bagels and Jewish rye bread, none of which I can get in my current area!
