Pumpkin Stew

Found what the store called a Jamacia pumpkin for Thanksgivng dinner. Used ground sirloin instread of stew beef and added three cans of different beans & one of corn to make it more veggie friendly. Microwaved pumpkin while cooking filling. Put cooked filling in pumpkin and baked a couple hours to blend flavors. DELICIOUS and impressed in-laws.

Light & Creamy Pumpkin Pie

I used to make a dozen of these for our 3rd Grade Turkey Day dinner. Very Easy! Mostly Healthy! and Very Fast! Can use a whole can of pumpkin instead of 1 cup. I made it this year for the family and got rave reviews. Won't make any other pumpkin pie.

Easy Polenta with Tomato Sauce

Added 1 C. shredded cheddar cheese instead of Parm. Will use less tomato sauce next time. Can't wait for leftovers tomorrow night. Hope it will be less runny.

Favorite Banana Blueberry Quick Bread

Even though this recipe has more ingredients than I usually use, it is well worth it. The oatmeal adds so much. Frozen blueberries are available all year around so that's no excuse for not making this.

Russian Tea Cakes III

This time I chopped the nuts with a mini chopper and mixed dough with mixer instead of by hand. The recipe makes up quickly. Tip-Dip cookies into your sugar-filled cupped hand for final coating. This way they all turn out evenly coated and equally pretty.

Delicioso!It's so cold and I wanted to serve something that sticks to your ribs for company. This was perfect. Will be sure to make again soon and may add only 1/2 lb pasta. The full pound absorbs all the liquid by the time seconds were served.

BUSH'S® Cajun Black Bean Soup

I was very happy with this recipe even if though I didn't puree the can of beans. On leftover day, I threw in a cup or so of leftover cooked rice while reheating. Absolutely delicious both ways!

Graham Cracker Crust II

Best and easiest crust recipe I've tried. Got lots of compliments when I served this Turkey Day and called it Pumpkin Mousse Pie (really no-bake pumpkin cream pie and this crust). The inlaws now have a new favorite AND I'm not spending more time in the kitchen have to make traditional favorites.

Amazing Slow Cooker Orange Chicken

Like many other reviewers, I wish I had read the reviews before making this. The sauce didn't stick to the chicken and my pan was black. Next time I'm going to try coating the chicken with a thin coating of soup and then dip it in seasoned flour before I brown the chicken in the pan. The rest of the soup I'll put in crock pot. Loved the flavor but not the procedure.

Peppermint Snowball Cookies

Excellent cookies for a gift! Be sure to finely crush all the peppermint candies. Unless it's very fine, the candy won't stick to the cookies as well.
