Cranberry-Pear Tossed Salad
I don't rate many recipes, but this one deserves 5-Stars. My guests LOVED it. They all said it was the best salad they've ever eaten, and commented that it was like eating dessert before the dinner. I agree, it's one of the best. I made it for the first time three weeks ago, and decided to make it for family at Thanksgiving. I made it just as the recipe said, without altering a thing. I recommend it to anyone for any meal. You may want to put the dressing on the side, because you'll want to eat this one for days afterwards.

Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar
I don't mean any disrespect, but I really didn't like this recipe at all. I had much bigger expectations. I made 3 batches for 12 pint jars, and every one was disappointing. I think there's too much of the powdered milk, and not enough sugar or chocolate. In the end, I could have just wrapped up a box of Nestle's Hot Cocoa, and it would have tasted better. Sorry. It just wasn't for me.

Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge
I have been using this same recipe for the past 3 years without changing a thing. A couple of batches have not been firm enough, but it was because I didn't let it cook long enough - there is a science, and I found that electric stove present more challenges than gas stoves. I have received so many compliments and so many people asking for the recipe. I look forward to making it every year, and have found myself creating a wonderful tradition for my family. Merry Christmas, Everyone!
