About this Cook
I'm a wife and mother of 3 beautiful daughters. I love to cook good food and spend time with my family and friends. I'm also a makeup artist and skin care professional.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying new recipes; doesn't matter what it is as long as it sounds good and has a lot of good reviews.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Collard Greens!!! My mom makes THE BEST collard greens and she passed her recipe on to me. I try to make them weekly.
My cooking triumphs
I've made quite a few dishes on this site and I'm proud to say that all of them have been a success with the exception of one!
My cooking tragedies
Jalapeno cheese rice.... YUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!

Baked Chicken Nuggets
These were really good. My kids loved them. I followed the advice of another reviewer and used pasta sauce as a dipping sauce. Very tasty!

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II
This chicken is so good! I tweaked the recipe to add more seasoning, garlic and broth. I quadrupled the garlic, added about 1.5-2 cups of broth (enough to cover the chicken in the crock pot) and I juiced a whole lemon. The chicken turned out very tender and flavorful. I serve it as a main entree with rice and steamed veggies. I also like to cut it up and put it on my salads or even put it in a sandwich (between wheat bread with fresh spinach and any other fixins you like)... YUM! Try it!!!! :)

Stuffed Peppers with Turkey and Vegetables
I made this as a casserole and my family loved it. I added extra seasonings (I always do) :) The flavors were delicious. This will go into rotation. Quick and easy.
