I moved away from home and in with my now husband over 6 years ago. Lots of ups and downs with my cooking skills as I learn new things! Luckily he is very supportive and enjoys eating almost anything I make. I like to bake things, as it requires less standing over the stove waiting for things to happen. I certainly like to try new things more than my mom ever did. I was used to eating the same 7 meals each week, which definitely got boring. So my new tradition is trying lots of new things! Anything that isn't burned or doesn't morph into something new while cooking is a triumph when you're a hungry student! Almond chicken, with egg noodles instead of rice noodles... What a sticky, yucky mess!
