Loved this! Absolutely delicious! Topped it with French's French Fried Onion Rings. Whole family raved!

I made this last night for a groupd of family and friends. Like others, I substituted chicken broth for the water, used 1% milk b/c that's what we buy (and it's healthier), and used a combination of parmesan and low-fat cheddar for the cheese. I kicked up the flavor a bit w/ the addition of some Wildtree Herbs' Onion and Chive seasoning blend but you could use a little diced onion or dehydrated onion and chives. (Everyone raved and raved over this quick and easy side dish which complimented a wonderful meatloaf my sister made! Great alternative to mashed potatoes. Will definitely make again!

Delicious! Everyone enjoyed this dish served over white rice. The ribs and its aromatic and flavorful sauce/gravy was the perfect compliment to the simplicity of the white rice. Like others, I thickened my gravy w/ a little cornstarch & beef broth (rather than water). Perhaps the best part was the aroma in the house as it simmered for all those hours!
