Easy Peach Cobbler

This recipe came out bad, I followed the directions exactly with the exception of using a much larger jar of peaches. The crust was just awful. It was a weird texture and had no flavor whatsoever. I took it to my neighbor's for dinner and was very embarrassed and disappointed. NO ONE liked it in the least.

Frosty Pineapple Salad

This was WAY EASY AND VERY DELISH! Everyone was asking for the recipe at the teachers luncheon! I think you could easily add a different fruit (fruit cocktail maybe) or add more fruit to the original such as mandarin oranges or peaches. This was really good stuff. I added a packet of instant coconut pudding as another reviewer suggested and it was just - amazing. Simple and yummy! An all ages pleaser!

Fluffy Pancakes

I made these tonight for dinner using buttermilk and whole wheat flour. They were so fluffy and very delicious. I have a family of four with a couple big eaters so I had to double the recipe. Next time, I will triple it to have more to stock in the fridge. They are SO easy! If you are new to pancake making you will find this recipe pretty easy. I did sub oil for shortening. I can't tell if it were to make a difference b/c I have only made them this way. I didn't have any shortening. I never use that stuff! I also added a drop or two of vanilla because that's how my dad always made them. The batter was thick because of the buttermilk. I used a little extra buttermilk and then thinned the batter a TINY bit using a couple teaspoons of water. The buttermilk gives them a more homestyle, old fashioned flavor! These were fabulous!

Easy Iced Coffee

I gave this recipe four stars because it was a super platform! I used reviewer dshea4's changes and then tweaked it some more on my own. I followed dshea4's but varied by using Swiss Mocha International Coffee from General Foods. I don't like it as a hot drink so this was perfect!! Then I used chocolate flavored powdered coffee creamer. Drizzled the top with whip cream - yum!!! It was *almost* as good as something at Starbucks. Even my husband, who poo poo's the idea of frozen cappuccinos or iced coffee drinks, LOVED it!!! Awesome!!

Buffalo Chicken Wing Soup

THIS SOUP IS SOOOOO GOOD! AND SUPER EASY, I make this for parties, superbowl and it is always very well received. It is a favorite of my husband's! Good stuff!

Hot Pizza Dip by 3-A-Day™of Dairy

Took this to a party and it was a BIG hit. I thought it was pretty good. I think it would be fabulous with some chopped pepperoni or other pizza meats. Good stuff!

Apple Oatmeal Cookies II

FANTASTIC. To make it a five star recipe though I made a few adjustments. I added about a 1/4 to a 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice. Threw in some extra cinnamon. Used brown sugar in place of honey because I didn't have any. And, I used chopped dried apples that I had in my pantry rather than fresh. Also, used 1/4 c. real butter rather than margarine and mixed 1 packet of instant apple cinnamon oatmeal in with the oats called for. If I were to make this again I would DOUBLE the recipe. For a healthy cookie you CANNOT beat these. Delish!

Frosted Banana Bars

This recipe is excellent. The only thing I added was a dash or so of cinnamon. I made my own cream cheese frosting from the website. It was the one that didn't have butter in it. I would say use a different frosting recipe as that one was so so at best. But this bar is more like a cake as other reviewers have commented but it is SUPERB! Very moist and delish! I prepared in a 13 x 9 for right about 39 minutes. Cooled and frosted and it was awesome. You could definitely get away without any frosting at all!!! Next time maybe I will add chocolate chips and then just sprinkle with powdered sugar! YUMMY!

Hearts of Palm Dip

Everyone really liked this dip - reminded me alot of artichoke dip. And it finally made use of that can of hearts of palm I had lying around (I had bought that one time accidentally - intending to buy artichokes).

Incredibly Easy Chicken and Noodles

I probably would have given this recipe 5 stars BUT...I think using low or no sodium soups is a MUST. That way you can add in your own seasonings. I am a salt lover but this, in my opinion this was a little too salty. I think using low or sodium soups would take care of that. I added in a little sour cream too trying to balance out the saltiness. I will try to make it again using low sodium soups and re - rate at that time. Easy and the kids liked though.

Double Chocolate Brownie Cake

Very good! I make alot of cakes of variation using cake mixes...thanks to that awesome cake mix doctor!! What a great book! This recipe was very simple, and came out awesome. I added just a cup of chocolate chips and used white chocolate pudding mix as that is what I had on hand. It was delish! I warmed up store bought creamy white chocolate and poured it over the top. YUM YUM! Everyone was raving about this cake - what a chef they kept saying...I will never let them know otherwise!!!

Perfect Pumpkin Pie

My son loves pumpkin pie and he really liked this recipe. He said it was the best. Everyone at Thanksgiving enjoyed it very much. I had never made homemade pumpkin pie before. This was ridiculously easy - I will NEVER buy the box pie again (sorry Mrs. Smith). Very easy and so good!!!

Caramel Pecan Pie

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a VERY big hit with all the pecan pie lovers! Everyone wanted the recipe. I didn't think it was tough to make at all. It was a tad long melting the caramels but that by far was the most tedious part. I used brown sugar rather than white and used a deep dish pie crust. I used pecan pieces because the pecan halves were WAY too expensive! And for pretty presentation I placed a few chocolate chips and extra nuts on top when I took it from the oven. Tasty! Will make again!!!

Mocha Coffee

I thought this was pretty good. I cannot say it is as good as Starbuck's but it certainly was WAY cheaper. It was pretty good though. I added lite whip cream to the top - that makes anything great!!! :) Thanks for the post!

Easy Breezy Casserole

I made this tonight and my family really enjoyed it - literally EVERYONE had seconds (or thirds) and that rarely happens - so a recipe ranks high with those odds! I did add/change a bit. First off, I added almost a soup can of milk to make it more creamy then I threw in some cheese - american and swiss and added some seasonings - few dashes of garlic salt, paprika, and some pepper. It was really quite good! Nice recipe so quick and simple and very tasty at that!!!

Marty's Loosemeat Sandwich

I thought this was a great twist on the hamburger and the sloppy joe and have always wanted to try one since "Roseanne" he he. When making them again though I would make a bit of a change. For one, I would try making with half the amount of beer called for and for two, I would use a more basic beer (I used a pale ale too gourmet for this recipe beer). It definitely had a beer taste and I like beer but felt it could be cut back a wee bit. I, too added some minced onion and garlic while the meat was cooking. It does definitely take longer than stated for all the liquid to cook out. Good starter recipe though and easily adaptable to suit each family's tastes.

Banana Cake X

This cake came out very moist and tasty. I think I should have stuck with making it in the 13x9 though rather than the 2 round cake pans I used as they fell apart when I took them out of the pan. It is a very moist cake though, flavorful and pairs well with cream chesse frosting.

Cheeseburger Soup II

Ok, I thought this soup was just very okay. It wasn't awesome but was not bad either. Maybe if I had made it during the winter it would have impressed me more. And, I think personally it would have been alot better with hunks of potato rather than shredded hash browns. For me, they just didn't hold up real well and most ended up turning sort of mashed. I like the idea of this soup so may try it again with a few adjustments.

Oven Scrambled Eggs

This recipe is AWESOME! I love love love it! I scaled it back a bit and used a 9x9 pan. I omitted the butter using canola oil cooking spray instead. I added lowfat cheeses, fresh chopped mushrooms, green onion chopped, fresh tomatoes, and chopped white onion, and bacon. This was better than any restaurant even. I CANNOT WAIT to make this for company. Yum Yum and SO SO simple! Thanks so much to whoever posted!!!
