I love to bake most of all. I hate to clean up, so I clean as I go!!!! I love the Denver Broncos. Used to live in the Springs many moons ago. I love to scrapbook. I usually cook up a storm on Sunday and have things already done for the week ahead.

I'll bake anything!!! Anything involving sugar and butter!!!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey day dinner.....and everything that goes with it.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I make a Black Forest cake from scratch. With Kirchwasser brushed between the layers YUM....
My cooking tragedies
When the pumpkin pie fell from my hands on to the open oven door. What a mess.

Guinness(R) Corned Beef
An amazing recipe. I used a "point" cut of beef. 99 cents a pound on sale. Just trimed it up. Cooked it 7 hrs on low in the crock pot. Used two bottles of Guinness. My husband thought it was a waste of 2 bottles of beer :). Since my crock pot is on the small side, I removed the beef and poured the "broth" into a large pot and then added my cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. Then I boiled them on top of the stove for 20 min.or so. Can't wait to serve it tonite!!!

Peanut Butter Frosting
Easy to make and it tastes great on a chocolate fudge cake. I cut it in half and still had enough to frost a 9 x 13 cake. I did add just a bit more milk to make it spread easier. My husband always asks for this frosting on his birthday cake!!!
