Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
Wonderful! I made several modifications out of personal taste. I made 2 half batches (cooked each in an 9x9 pan), one with chorizo sausage (a favorite of my husband's) and one with regular sausage and bacon. I used 6 eggs for each and just divided all the other ingredients between the two batches. I also used 4 oz of cream cheese per batch instead of cottage cheese. Each half took about 35-40 minutes to cook but I mostly eyeballed the time and just took them out when they looked set. It was a Father's Day hit! Will definitely make it again and again! Next time I plan to add some green pepper.

Thai Peanut Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
Very rarely do I try a recipe that I feel needs less than 5 stars, unfortunately this is one of them. I made this for my husband and me and followed others suggestions to use crunchy peanut butter and snap peas. I also tripled the sauce. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly. It was very peanut buttery and even had a thick texture like peanut butter. It was very salty. Neither one of use cared for this and I will not be making it again.

Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2008
I took this to a 4th of July potluck and it was the first thing gone. Everyone was talking about it! Like other reviewers suggested, I left out the olives and replaced with green onions. I also used about 3 cups of casserole cheese, 2 cups of sour cream and a 1/2 cup of mayo. Since some reviewers thought it was a bit bland, I added a few dashes of garlic salt as well. I mixed everything together and topped with another 1/2 cup of cheese and more crumbled bacon. I only had time to bake for about 40 minutes but it was definitely done. I will definitely be making this again and again! Thanks!

Worlds Best Bacon Cheese Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2007
I made this for a get-together with friends. Everyone loved it and there was none left at the end of the night. I only gave it 4 stars though because of the oil. There was so much oil in on the top of the dip when I took it out of the mmicrowave, I had to pour it all off. Otherwise, the taste was very good!

EVERYONE LOVES THIS so much that I'm starting to think it's the only reason we're invited to parties anymore! It's always requested and always gone as soon as it hits the food table. perfect!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2005
Very easy to prepare. Everyone especially loved the tortilla wedges and even ate more of those than the salsa. The salsa was a bit runny but I prepared it the night before the party and refrigerated overnight. Next time I'll either make it right before I intend to serve it, or drain out the extra juice.

Alaskan Spicy Spinach Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2005
This dip is very tasty but it was very runny until it cooled and the cheese began to harden. Most of the spinach sank to the bottom so I had to keep a spoon in the bowl and keep stirring it up. I didn't have any tomato but it was still good without it. I would make it again with much less cream.
