Hi. I tried the soup today. Very good. I did add the 1/2 cup chopped onion as suggested. I also used 8 cups chicken broth. This was a little thin so next time I will use 6 cups. Plus I like shortcuts so I put everything but the potatoes in at the beginning and it was ready in about 30 minutes. I then added left over mashed potatoes from the night before. Next time I will try a little ground sausage.

I really liked it but some of my kids didn't. It is sweet like honey glazed ham.
