VERY GOOD. SUBBED HALF AND HALF AND YOGURT FOR THE CREAM. ADDED MORE JALAPENOS AND SOME CHOPPED TOFU. SERVED OVER BROWN RICE. YUMMY! MAKE SURE TO CHOP YOUR POTATOES PRETTY SMALL -- TOOK LONGER THAN STATED TO COOK.

This was just OK. Not very good. I had to add some milk to the batter because it was WAY too thick. Bland in flavor, and the raspberries make it soggy at the bottom.

Middle Eastern Rice with Black Beans and Chickpeas

Yum. This will go into regular rotation. I only used one can of chicken broth, and one can of each of the beans. Makes a lot of food! Served with pita bread, and a romaine, tomato, and feta salad. Stuffed it all in the pita and topped with plain yogurt. Try it!

Made this a while ago, and forgot to review it. It's REALLY good. Very tasty, and not too difficult. Served it with roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli. YUM!

Linguine with Seafood and Sundried Tomatoes

This is tasty! Used much less butter and oil than the recipe called for and only used clams, shrimp, and a little cream at the end. Also added lots of mushrooms, and lots of crushed red pepper flakes. Tasted even better the next day.

Quick AND delicious. Slightly crisp on the outside, and chewy inside. Perfection -- what a great recipe.

These are wonderful! Yes, the dough is a little difficult to work with, but the end result is SO worth it. I made them with a pumpkin filling and can't wait to try a savory filling in them.

Mafioso Chocolate Cake

After making this cake a second time and following the directions to the letter(with the slight exception of adding a 1/4 cup more dutch processed cocoa to the batter)I still have to say this is THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD. I love it without the frosting, but with a layer of it, it's over the top chocolatey. WOW, am I glad I have this recipe. Some people have remarked about the 300 degree temperature. Trust me, if your oven is accurate it turns out perfect. ENJOY.

Excellent bread! The loaves turned out just beautiful. I chose not to use flax seeds, but added more of all the other seeds. Brushed the top with milk, more seeds and a couple pats of butter. Browned beautifully. So good right out of the oven. Thank you!

These are the best cookies I've ever made! I added a few cups shredded coconut to the dough and a lot more chocolate chips than the recipe called for. I will make these again. Thanks for sharing such a fabulous recipe!

Award Winning Peaches and Cream Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2003
I used a 10' springform pan for this recipe, not a pie pan. Turned out very well! Followed recipe exactly, except I doubled the peaches, using two (2) 29 oz. cans of peaches. It is actually a very pretty dessert - don't know what other reviewers are talking about! The only thing I would change is I would add some sugar to the "crust". I think it needed to be a little sweeter. Topped with fresh whipped cream - very good! Would like to try this with strawberries or cherries. This has to be one of the easiest desserts I've ever made.

Mafioso Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 15, 2003
This cake was absolutely fantastic! I added slightly more cocoa than the recipe called for, and the result was a rich, dense, smooth, melt in your mouth cake. WARNING: THIS CAKE IS FOR VERY SERIOUS CHOCOLATE LOVERS. The frosting was great too, but this cake is so wonderful, a light dusting with powdered sugar would be just fine. I will make this again. Thank you so much for such a great recipe.
