Black Bean and Salsa Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2010
We loved this soup. Made minor changes. I used Chicken broth, because I didn't have any veggie broth. I added a whole green pepper. I did not run any ingredients through the food processor. I just rinsed the beans and dumped all the ingredients into the pot at once and cooked it. It turned out great. It was so good. My husband even loved it and he is not a fan of black beans

French Onion Soup Gratinee

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2008
The soup was absolutely fabulous. I followed the recipe with 2 changes. I caramelized my onions with butter and worcestershire sauce and used dried spices rather than fresh. I omitted the salt in the end of the recipe because I felt that the soup was just right. An the end result was a huge hit in my house. My kids who hate onions even ate the soup. My husband raved about how good it was all night and even the next day. I will definitely make again.

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2007
This recipe was delicious. I did not have fresh lemon so I used lemon juice. I think next time I will use fresh lemon cause I think it will probably add more of a lemon flavor. Overall, very big hit in my house. Will definitely make again.

Best Peach Cobbler Ever

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2007
I have made this recipe several times. It is such a huge hit. My husband who absolutely loves peach cobbler loves this recipe. Everyone loves it and ask for the recipe. Also, I pour in my peach mixture and then spoon batter on top and it comes out perfect everytime. Never soupy or sloppy

I am from the South. I followed recipe exactly. To me this tasted like peach cake NOT peach cobbler at all.

A Marinade To Die For

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2007
Very good marinade. I grilled my chicken and then put BBQ sauce on the meat. So I think that helped with the sweetness. Also instead of red wine vinegar I used basalmic vinegar and came out great. Will use marinade again.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
My husband absolutely loved this recipe (he can be very picky). I used boneless chicken breast instead of chicken wings. I marinated the chicken in the sauce for 2 hours before cooking. I cooked my chicken on the grill and brused the caramelized sauce on this chicken while it cook. In the end I had wonderful flavored chicken with a really nice glaze.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
I read a number of reviews before I made this recipe. One thing I saw over and over was that a lot of people felt that the Honey Mustard Chicken was bland. So I made this recipe a few days ago it was a huge it with my family. I sprinkled the chicken in seasoning salt and pepper and put it in the fridge. I made the Honey Mustard sauce seprately and put it in the fridge (Never marinated the chicken in the sauce). Once the chicken was on the grill I glazed it (several time for about 10 minutes) with the Honey Mustard Sauce. In the end the chicken had a great carmalized covering of honey mustard.
