Peanut Butter Temptations II

These were GREAT! Doubled the recipe and filled half with PB cups and the other with kisses. I took the advice of others and lined my cups, then filled after I removed from pan. Came out PERFECT!

Aaahh! Potato Soup

I did alter this quite a bit, but was a HUGE hit! I used baked red potatoes, sauted bacon/onion in the saucepan first, added rest & simmered for over an hour and then added a can of evaporated milk and 8oz of sharp cheddar. This will for sure be a new family menu item :O)

Sloppy Joes II

I added BBQ sauce and chopped up a bit more green pepper. I served on seeded potato rolls and DINNER WAS A HIT! Even my picky eaters ate it! I will make this again for sure :O)

Summer Chicken Salad

Great Salad.. I substituted coconut for the nuts and omitted the dill. This was very tasty. I used fresh Chicken breast and was a HUGE hit :O)

Pumpkin Bread

Bread came out AWESOME! Very Moist with a crunchy outside. I made 4 mini loaves and cooked for the same time as 2 large. Will make again for sure :) An ultimate COMFORT food!

Chocolate Pretzel Rings

These were so good! I made these for our family game night, and they were enjoyed by all the kids and the adults! So simple, and a great little treat! These would make a great little snack for kids/school parties. Thanks for a such a "SWEET" treat :O)

These were AWESOME! I halved the recipe, only because I was short on pudding..to bad, because they disappeared! The cookies stay soft, which made them a big hit here!

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Bars

This was a great snack. I omitted the sunflower seeds and I added Peanut butter chips in addition to the choco-chips and used chunky peanut butter. I took other's advice and baked for about 18 minutes, very moist. One thing I would be careful to do next time around is store in airtight container as opposed to covered in foil, it did dry out quickly. Delish snack that even my kids gobbled up :O)

Eggnog Cookies I

These were not as spicy as I had hoped for, so I did add another tsp of nutmeg, and 1tsp of a cinnamon/ginger blend. They baked up nice and soft, reminded me more of a snickerdoodle.

Doggie Biscuits I

Our Italian Greyhound LOVED his homemade "cookies" I substituted oats for the corn and used 1/2 cup of water, as others suggested. These were so simple to make! We have wrapped them up for all of our puppy "friends" to enjoy :O)

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Buttery and Easy! I did use strawberry preserves and left them unfrosted. I also made a batch with vanilla extract and apple pie preserves! These are soo tasty! Thumbprints will now be on my annual cookie list!

Chewy Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Delish! My batch made 6 dozen medium sized cookies! Our Church Youth Group gobbled them up in minutes!!! I did omit the nuts and baked for 13 minutes, and they were still great! Recipe is a real keeper!

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

WOW! these were perfect!! Crispy on the outside but still soft in the middle, even the next day! I added 1 cup white chips also, which were a great addition. I made a plate to share with friends and we had to run home and "refill"!!! I have found my new FAV recipe :)
