These pancakes are magnificent! They are soo fluffy, light, and delicious. The only change I made was using Canola oil instead of butter. AmAzInG! This recipe is a must try. Thanks for the recipe kris!

EXCELLENT! Oh my goodness, this recipe is AMAZING! This was sooo much better than those store bought boxes! This recipe was great as written, but I really wanted to try using Dark Chocolate cocoa, and I have to say...It was also amazing! (especially if you like dark chocolate) I do hae to mention that I did take the advice of the other reviewers and stirred in a Tbsp of butter after it reached the consistancy that I wanted. Delish! I must try! Thanks for sharing this amazing recipe Debra! :)

I was debating over whether to follow the directions as written, or make some of the changes that other cooks mentioned in their reviews. I decided to follow the directions as written, and I'm glad that I did. My boyfriend and I LOVED them! We both thought that the recipe as written was great, I guess it just depends on your tastes. What I really loved is that it did not have any of the other...shall I say "stuff"....that is in the prepared breakfast sausage at the store. Thanks for the recipe Lee, we will definitely be making these in the future!
